Dogs Rule holds training classes for puppies, adult dogs and their owners. Our trainer takes a practical approach to our relationship with dogs, who look upon the humans in their life as part of their pack. When a dog recognizes its owner as the pack leader, it knows where to look for direction and becomes easier to train.
In our classes, the owners learn to see the pack from the dogs perspective and how our body language and tone of voice influence a dog's behavior. The trainer not only explains how to understand our dogs behavior, but how our behaviors are interpreted by our dogs.
Once better communications is established, more traditional training begins. From walking on a loose leash to discouraging unwanted behavior, our classes give owners the foundation needed for on-going training.
